Japandon Imported Green Tea Soba

Green Tea Soba Noodles
Instead of using plain soba noodles why not try green tea noodles, (or chya soba). This type of noodles differ in that they have a subtle green tinge and are mixed with matcha, green tea. For their asthetic value a lot of cooks prefer to use green tea noodles.
The green tea soba are slightly less ‘nutty’ than our imported green tea noodles. Our Japandon imported green tea noodles are made by adding powdered green tea when the soba dough is first made.
A lot of people in Japan tend to mix the noodles with sauces such as sesame seed oil, soya, rice wine or vinegar, a dash of sugar, pickled ginger, or spice such as Thai chili flakes.
